1. Phu Quoc

The first wedding of a billionaire Indian couple was held on Phu Quoc island and lasted for a full week. At least six other billionaire Indian couples have booked Phu Quoc island to be the venue for their wedding ceremonies following the success of the first one.



2. Da Nang city

Da Nang city is one of the most well-qualified destinations in Vietnam to host the million-dollar wedding of Indian billionaires thanks to its picturesque scenery and the development of five-star hotels. Da Nang city is also famous worldwide for the Golden Bridge, which has attracted hordes of guests since it opened in the Ba Na Hills mountain resort near the city in June 2018, and two UNESCO World Heritage Sites - Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary. The number of Indian tourists to Vietnam remained low compared to other Asian countries such as China and South Korea, with only 130,000 arrivals in 2018. But the growth was 30 percent year-on-year.

Vietjet Air plans to operate direct air services between HCMC and New Delhi and between Hanoi and the Indian capital this December, becoming the first Vietnamese airline to launch direct air links to India.

The former route will open from December 6 onwards with four flights a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, while the latter will operate from December 7 onwards with three flights a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
